All:

I'm exploring effects with mini cards and am looking for leads for further research. I'm wondering: besides Micro Macro, Aces Front, Klause's Bantam Weight Card, and M. Lewis' rising cards what are your favorite published effects with mini cards?

Thanks in advance!

Miniature Mysteries With Cards, compiled by Barbara Walker (yes, my ex-wife who used my research library extensively). 1980, x plus 166 pages, hardbound in dust jacket. This is an interesting compilation of effects utilizing miniature cards, largely arranged in chronological order from 1774 to 1979. I have a few new copies with extra sheets of miniature cards laid in so you can perform novelty card magic right away, for only $20

Thanks, Edward--I'll check it out.

Has anyone read this book?

I like Curtis Kam's "Shrink a Card" from his book Deceptions in Paradise. A selected card is returned to the deck, which shrinks in size via Diminishing Fan. A tiny card is removed, which turns out to be the selection. The fan is restored to regular size. The tiny card is given away because it can never return to normal.
