'Queens' by Bill Goodwin

Postby Joe Mckay » June 29th, 2004, 6:49 pm

A couple of years ago, the "other" magazine did a profile on the ingenious Bill Goodwin. In it an effect called 'Queens' was described, and was slated for release in the first issue of 'Penumbra' magazine. Does anyone know if it is still to be published in Penumbra? or if it has been published elswhere?

Thanks!

Hi Joe,

No, Bill's Queen trick has never been published. I'm sure it will see the light of day in Penumbra eventually. This is truly a beautiful piece of magic. Not the easiest thing in the world but the work is well worth it.

Best,

I'm not sure,
but wasn't it published in one of Roberto Giobbi's Card College?

Jacky, That's a trick called "Hold the Mayo" different from "Queens".

According to Mr. Goodwin, "Queens" will be in the next issue of Pneumbra....Going to the printer within a few days an hopefully shipping within 2-3 weeks.

Please confirm with him AND subscribe if you don't.

Well the new issue of Penumbra showed up today and WOW  , that's all i can say. The handling is a thing of beauty, so clean looking but will take time to master it.
