Chop Cup Discussion (Brands&reliability)

Postby Ben James » August 2nd, 2011, 6:13 pm

Hello all,

I currently have a chop cup (imported) and the 'gimmick' with in the cup is unreliable. Sometimes too strong and doesn't let go easily. I am about to buy another cup and would like some advice on what brand cup to buy. I am not really interested in gold plating spun cup and all that expensive stuff. I am more interested in a reliable working gimmick that isn't too strong etc. The brands I am looking at atm are 'BXD' & 'UDAY'. Can anyone please offer some advice for a good reliable 'worker' cup?

Thanks in advance, Ben

Perhaps it is the ball that is unreliable. Have you tried the balls from RNT 2 that are adjustable for reliability?

I have a ton of chop cups and all work well with practice and the right tools.
I had bought a Tabby Bamboo Chop Cup and couldn't find a set of balls to use with it until I got adjustable ones from Donnie. Now it works every time flawlessly.
