5 greatest close up magicians

Postby Guest » October 11th, 2005, 5:27 am

Has anyone ever heard of the show "the five greatest close up magicians in the world"?

If so, who was in it and is it available any where?

I haven't heard about "the five greatest close up magicians in the world", but apparently Fernando Keops was on the show (according to the ad for his new DVD set)

If the show doesn't include me than the show is a fraud.

It might be a 2 hour japanese show, aired last new year, called something like;
Tomo Maeda presents the 5 greatest close-up magicians in the world.
The line-up was:

Tomo Maeda,
Henry Evans,
myself,
Andrew Goldenhearst
Lennart Green
Max Maven

Also, some clips with Guy Hollingworth and Dr. Sawa.

Actually that's a darn clever way to list folks, as no one is burdened with being "one of the five best magicians", but can list on their credits that they were featured on said showing...

A nice way to be humble and yet get credit for being among the best.

Yes. But since they speak differently in Japan, they probably count differently as well ;)

Tomohiro Maeda had 5 guest magicians in the studio, interacting live with the audience. As a kind of intermission, they visited Hollingworth and Dr. Sawa in their own environments via pre-filmed clips. (something like that)
