I just bought a deck of standard, double faced USPCC cards. My intention was to use them for a variant of McDonald's Aces -- I wanted to set up a deck with the Jacks, Kings and Queens face up, allow the spec to choose which set to work with, and then do a McDonald's routine. Unfortunately, the faces on the deck don't allow for this -- for example, the Queen of Diamonds is backed with the Queen of Diamonds -- suffice it to say, no matter how I structure this, it won't work. The only thing I could do was a similar routine with the 7s, 8s and 9s, but it really loses something.
So my question: anyone have any ideas what I can do with these cards? The selection of cards (which I assume is standard) is unusual. For example, the deck comes with jokers and blanks which are backed with 5s and 6s -- somewhat interesting, but no ideas have come to me.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Steve Beam has a great trick that was in the Trap door as well as in one of his early Self Working books. Robert Parrish has an amazing application as well. Racherbaumer used to teach it in his lectures and can be found in his lecture notes.

Is this what new double face decks look like now after the changes made at USPCC?
