College Cafeterias=great practice arenas....

Postby Ernesto Pacifico » January 28th, 2010, 5:23 pm

so I was at a larger state university today and forgot how large and awesome their cafeterias tend to be. If I were in college still, this would be a great spot to practice table routines. If you ARE NOT in college, due to security issues you may have difficulty entering and it might not be in your best interest.

There's a group of magicians in Hawaii that meets every Saturday night at the Kahala Mall. I sessioned with them a couple of times on visits there the latest being a week or so ago. It's great because if they want to try out any material they've got an audience right there and if not no one seems to pay any attention to them.

I'm just saying, seeking permission from the proper college authorities could save you some legal mess here in the US of A land o' the free.

Excellent observation.

As a high school student in the 70's I used my study hall time to perform from table to table. In my high school students were not required to study during study hall - bad for my mastery of Calculus, but good for my mastery of Magic ;-)
