Korem's UDT

Postby Lee Almond » September 17th, 2009, 9:47 pm

I'm showing my age here folks. Did anyone here ever buy Danny Korem's "Upside Down Topit"??? I am asking due to I am moving at the end of the month and came across this darn thing while packing. I never could get the hang of making this blasted device work. Anyone here in Geniiland have any luck with Danny's UDT? Many thanks in advance. Peace all.

I just packed all my books and old Genii's tonight. If I remember correct the ad in Genii read that Charlie Miller was the person who coined (insert pun) the "Upside Down Topit". Anyone here have any background on this? Again, all my many thanks. Peace out.
Lee.

Wasn't this, or something similar to it, covered in his book?

John Cornelius seems to have had something working using that principle for years.

I have used this for some applications. What is your question?

Lee,
Sent you a private message. I don't think your email address is up to date.

The principle that underlies Dannys UDT is ancient (and he didnt claim otherwise as I recall). What Danny brought to it were some very intriguing routines. I bought the second volume when it came out because (at the time) I wanted one particular routine. The key to all these routines is the blocking he created so the actions needed to deliver and take away the UDT were natural.

I never found the UDT to be particularly reliable despite quite a bit of time invested. I sold the device and the books years ago without regret.

I think Tommy Wonder's thinking on the subject to be more reliable and sophisticated. Even though I have not made up his version it seems to have more resonance for me than Korem's device did. See Books of Wonder, Vol 2, starting at page 206.
