Haven't heard his name in years--don't know if he's even still in the field. Have you tried Googling him?

Last news I had was that Bob was working for the golf club company - Big Bertha in Atlanta.

He and Paul Cummins were old college buddies (if I remember correctly) and maybe you can email Paul for the latest.

He has some nice work with the Okito box. I'm trying to track down his printed material on the subject. If anyone has leads, it would be much appreciated.

One problem finding him may be due to the spelling of his name. It should be "Robert Bengel". We have two of his books in stock, and are out of stock on a third. I'll check to see if either of the two we have has Okito box material, but I don't believe so. Here's a link to the titles I mentioned:

Thanks, Richard.

And my apologies to Mr. Bengel for the misspelling

The "Getting Back to Basics 1" has okito box material in it.
Robert published seperate material such as the "Romancing the Coin Box Routine" seperatly and then there was another chapter in "Back to Basics 2".
I do not know if he has published anything recently as I have not heard about or from him in some time.
The Romancing the Coin Box Routine was sold with the Bengal Box.
Hope that helps,
Mike

Robert wrote a manuscript for the Jim Zee Coin Boxes with the title of 'Routines - Sleights and Utility Moves'. It is a comb bound manuscript with what looks like reproductions of Robert's previously published material.

"Romancing the Coin Box" is on Page 6 of 'Getting Back to Basics" lecture notes.
