Although it may be too soon to have any real opinions on the new releases, I am wondering what everyone thinks looks most interesting to them.

For me, it's MAGICAL SECURITY and MAGIC BUTTERFLY.

From my friends who were at the Tenyo Festival, I've heard that all four tricks are very good this year.

The dice and credit card tricks look good.

The red dice seems to be a nod to Sugawara or is perhaps a technical requirement of the trick.

Can't wait to get my hands on these.

Do you know if Tenyo is going to include English paper instructions with each package as well?

Special release this year: Tenyo has produced a Himber wallet in Japan with some additional pockets.

Is that the wallet Tenyo released earlier this year or is this one in addition to that one?

I just looked into it and discovered that Tenyo released ATM and.LePaul wallets but no Himber so this is indeed a new one!

The ATM appears to be a new model of the Wild Wallet.

No, the ATM wallet is a Sho-Gun wallet.

Oh, right. I saw Wild Wallet in the description and drew that conclusion.

The Sho-Gun Wallet is one I am not familiar with but I do know the other two.

I just watched my friend Yuki Kadoya, who attended the Tenyo festival, demonstrate all four new tricks to me via Skype.

It's a VERY strong line up.

The way Lubor Fiedler's trick works is amazing. I had absolutely no idea.

And the Komiya's trick with the metal ball that gets squashed into a metal disc between the two plastic plates does NOT work like "Squeese Play." That part of the trick fooled me. The handling for turning the disc into a coin can be greatly improved with a little sleight of hand (something they avoid, of course, since their customers are laymen).

And Ali Bongo's die penetration is a miracle and the Komiya's new mechanics are superb--the die looks great as it sinks down through the stretched cloth (and it locks and can be examined).

And So Sato's Butterfly trick is excellent--also very clever.

At least two of the trick provide props that will inspire many variations.

A good year. Look for more in the November issue of Genii.

Sounds like this years trick will be lots of fun. The Butterfly and Magical Security look most interesting to me so far without seeing any actual performances.

Quick question about the Magical Alchemy trick: Does it specifically produce only a 500 yen coin? If so will there be a version made with US currency?

Magical Alchemy is designed to work in the US with a presidential dollar coin (which are gold in color).
