When Tom announces a new release, you don't have to tell me twice!

Order placed and book received. I'm off to get some reading done... :)

I'm a card guy and a fan of Tom Stone's work, so this ebook is really up my alley.

It contains two lovely color changes, several clever notebook ideas including one which is brilliant; 'Compass Deck Switch' is sort of a full-body retention of vision move to switch decks.

Tom shares his take on the Invisible Palm using a very interesting idea, although I'm not in love with the choreography he's chosen. He has, though, added a couple of proofs that the card has turned invisible but is still physically there, and this is a fantastic addition to the effect.

But the heart of the book for me is Tom's take on the Paul Harris classic, Reset. Using 35 illustrations, he has developed what is essentially a close-up trick into a platform or stage effect. Anyone who works at all has probably, like me, wondered what the hell to do with cards on a stage, other than split fan productions. I'm a pretty old guy now, and don't learn too much new magic (too busy; too lazy) but I am actually motivated to try and put some work into this one, called 'Nullified!'

A well-done and beautifully presented effort from one of Sweden's, and Magic's, most creative people.

Anything by Stone should be written in stone...

...and they are.

Swiss's detailed "takes" in Genii are worth reading.

Onward,

JR

I just spent the morning reading Tom's latest offering. "Random Walk" is wonderful containing some superb card magic. There are 4 items in the book that I will be using. I don't know how Tom keeps coming up with such first-rate material. Put this book on your must-have list.
