Michael Close-Devious

Looks like Michael Close has a new 2 DVD set titled, Devious, which will focus on card magic. I believe L&L will be shipping this in February '10. Check out the pre-pub offer.

I recently got this set on one of the sales (these sales are not advertised on the site) they have had for people who are on their mailing list. The one I've been practising is Set 1 (For Casual Performances) from volume 2:

The Way of the Duck A fresh presentation for an amazing revelation of two freely selected cards.

The Matching Miracle An Ed Marlo routine streamlined by Harry Riser.

Harrys Faro Trick Harry Riser had forgotten about this amazing card discovery. It was published in M-U-M, but has never appeared on video.

These effects are faro based and I'm still practising them so I can show them at the next local club meeting.
