Keeping my Eye on "The Eye"

Postby Dustin Stinett » February 26th, 2017, 5:43 pm

I have always enjoyed short-take news/trivia/historical bits of information in a publication. As such, Todd Karr's "The Eye" has become one of my favorite sections in Genii. The April issue will mark the one-year plateau for the column.

I am glad that Richard Kaufman took the gamble of including in a monthly print magazine a section filled with items that could be termed as "dated" in this environment of instant news. Frankly, something interesting is never dated.

Well-done Todd, thank you.

Whereas I skip over it each month as I don't find it interesting at all.

I'm kind of lukewarm towards it. Sometimes a few nice items jump out, but it seems to take up a lot of space that could perhaps be used for something more interesting/focused.
