On the Slant-Dave Solomon

Postby Guest » March 18th, 2006, 1:28 pm

In the Arpil Genii, Jon Racherbaumer has a reference to an effect by Dave Solomon. The end of the effect has a Joker on one side and the signed selection on the other. This prompted me to come up with a solution that matched the detailed description. But in my solution the Joker can't be examined too closely. Jon said Dave has published this effect. Anyone know where it is published?

David Solomon gave a lecture at Midwest Magic in Chicago very recently (within the last month) and the effect was in his lecture notes. (He also performed it, and it looked quite good). I regret to say that I don't remember the name of the notes, but I know its published in them.

The notes are his 2005 LVMI notes. Don't think they're listed on his website but I'm sure an
e-mail to him would get their availability. They really are a very good set of notes.
