Andi's Magicana run

Postby Scott M. » October 15th, 2016, 7:40 pm

Before the new issue arrives with John Guastaferro's first column, I thought I'd just say thanks here to Andi Gladwin for what, I thought, was a really good run editing Magicana. I might not have done, or even tried to do, every trick, but the column always had ideas, felt fresh and was written with a clear voice. The video supplement was usually the first thing I turned to. I know a column like this is a lot of work, so thanks for the creativity and dedication.

Yeah - Andi had a great run and did a great job. I just wish he could have continued for a few more years like his partner in crime, Josh Jay, did over at MAGIC magazine.

I found the videos that Andi provided each month very useful as well. There is no better way to decide if a trick is for you than to see a quick run through of what it is supposed to look like. Then if you decide it is - you can add the column for that month to your "To Do" list.

Very handy.

As far as magic is concerned - Andi and Josh are two of the good guys.

Good luck to John G - I am sure he will do an excellent job!
