Magic at the Beach is South Carolina's Premiere Magic Convention. We are very happy to announce that registration is now open for the Fifth Annual Event, MATB2014. We have also gone public with our new website to be found at http://www.magicatthebeach.org . Once there you’ll find the names of the first two acts to be announced. So go over there right now – I’ll wait and while you’re there signup for our e-blasts to keep up to date with all the latest news about Magic at the Beach 2014 ...
... so, what did you think of that, nice huh? Now if you missed our 2013 event, don't miss 2014. From the lavish Welcome Reception to the incredible "Champions of Magic" show, our goal is to create a one-of-a-kind event for all magicians to enjoy.

Gaston: Two-time FISM winner and Germany’s Magician of the Year – lecturer, author, performer, writer and actor – Gaston, is a key member of the famed Flicking Fingers and one of magic’s most creative performers. Discover the genius for yourself and see first hand the theatrical brilliance of Germany’s Gaston LIVE at Magic at the Beach 2014.
Gaston: An actor, comedian, and master magician all rolled up into one. Born in Munich Germany, Gaston started performing magic at an early age of seven. He trained at the school of magic in Munich where he later became a teacher. In 1988 he started working on adding skills with intensive classes of pantomime, ballet, jazz, acting, and attended the Drama School Schauspiel Munich. He’s written and starred in two solo shows that have played in Germany; both shows revolving around 10 characters from literature. You will recognize Gaston as part of the famous German group, Die Fertigen Finger (The Flicking Fingers). Collectively, The Flicking Fingers have won the Sarmoti Award from Siegfried & Roy in Las Vegas and lecturer of the Year, 2009, from the Magic Castle. Gaston has appeared at FISM four times and is the 2006 FISM World Champion of Parlor Magic in Stockholm. He was Germany’s “ 2006 Magician of the Year” and the “2005 German Champion in Allgemein Magi emit Vortag”.
Gaston will be appearing in the All-Star Close-up Show, Cabaret Show, and Champions of Magic Show at Magic At the Beach as well as presenting a lecture. This is Gaston’s first appearance on the East coast. Do NOT miss this rare opportunity to see Gaston in the USA at Magic At the Beach!

Although most would agree that his props are totally awesome, it’s Eric’s personality that wins audiences over. His high-energy, and hilarious act has been called, “Pure Art, Pure Madness!” It combines his crazy inventions and his high-octane sugar rush into a non-stop ride of mischief and magical gadgetry that most people could never imagine. Eric not only imagined it, he turned it into an award-winning act that he has performed around the world and on “The Late Show” with David Letterman. In fact, Letterman called his performance “Tremendous, sensational, beautiful and a real crowd pleaser,” and that was only 90 seconds of it! If he can impress Letterman, he must be good!

For over 20 years Tom has captivated audiences from coast to coast with his unique brand of comedy and magic. John Carney is no ordinary "magician". His approach is smart, engaging and always surprising. He is widely acknowledged as one of the top sleight-of-hand magicians in the world with smart, unique, and often hilarious presentations.
