Help Us!

Postby Doomo » September 11th, 2013, 10:32 pm

This is Rosie,Tony's feminine side.

Tony and I have been struggling to name his latest wallet creation. We've named a lot of wallets over the years...and the name well has run dry.

Tradition says to name wallets after a dangerous animal, reptile or profession - but don't feel limited by these.

It is a "card to wallet" wallet with a built in index and some neat functions.

Names we have already considered and rejected have been

The Cobra Shark 3000
The Panda Killer
and
The Dread Pirate Ninja Wallet

So what does the winning entry get?

A wallet to call his own
Credit as the namer of the wallet
and a box of really good homemade cookies

And what do we get?
The full rights to the name of the wallet
and a box of cookies (you didn't think we would make just one box of cookies did you?)

Winner will need to tell us of any food allergies in advance.

Thanks for your help!!

Rosie

Let's go old school and call it the "Svengali Wallet." I don't think that has been used yet.

My first-grade son has been interested in komodo dragons lately. So if that is selected, give credit to Thomas Mullins.

Me, I like basilisk lizards.

Rosie makes good cookies, but whoever the contest winner is should request some of the that home made caramel corn she whips up. It's as addictive as rack. Really.

I think you should name it "The Heart Attack Wallet."

Who made the wallet? Caesar made the wallet!

If Caesar were a penguin, it could be the Emperor Wallet!

As to the wallaby thing...the less said the better..maybe the Wallet-bee?

In honor of Mr. Goat - how about the Tadger wallet?

Honestly these are all awesome suggestions...some for special reasons of their own!

We'll mull them over until Saturday (my next day off) as I feel this will require much deep thought and beer to accomplish. And no - Tony doesn't get any beer. But don't worry, I'll make sure to drink it in front of him.

So if you have any more suggestions, post them now!

Of course, marketing is always helped by a known name.

Unfortunately, since we do not know the innards of your new wallet it is hard to "name" it secific to those.

I suggest: The revolutionary Slide-In-EE Wallet.

There you have a hardly veiled reference to a famous magic name. You have card to wallet suggested because in some manner you must slide (or load) a card in. You have "index" hinted at, i.e. "in". The double "E" refers to "egineered efficiency," which presumably your wallet has and enables. That can be explained in your ad.

Good luck to you.....and hopefully, benefits for the rest of us. Peace....Fred (Reisz)

Well The Gaboon Viper Wallet, The Mongoose, The Dingo, The Caesar (Seizure) Wallet, The Tadger,THE Wally,The Anaconda, The Basalisk, The Black Mamba, The Rainbow Unicorn Wallet (Suggested in a email), and the Honey Badger which is disqualified as we already produce a Badger Wallet. When we can get the leather.

These are some of the leading contenders so far. Please advise of any others. We have to start to work on packaging and shtuff.

Tony

The Keep It In Your Pants Wallet?

The Load On The Fly Wallet?

Maybe something, something, "Zip Lock".

The Jack the Zipper?

Okay, that's all I got, cuz I don't know nothin' 'bout no wild animals.
