Where to go in Los Angeles

Postby Winks » October 1st, 2014, 8:57 pm

Hi guys,
I am headed over to Los Angeles for a couple days conference. Any good brick and mortar magic shops there?
Thanks
Winks

If your interested in vintage (and some new) magic, check out Aladdin Books in Fullerton.

I know it's not a magic shop, but I don't think any magic excursion to LA would be complete without visiting:

(I'm pretty sure you can buy Dean's stuff there if you call first--plus where else can you get your mind blown along with a great haircut?)

I don't know if it is still a policy that is in place but years ago, anytime I'd visit LA I'd stay in Hollywood at the Magic Motel, which is right next to the Magic Castle. If you were staying at the motel, you got a free pass to visit the castle. I took advantage of that many times.

Oh, No! I remember when he had that bad wreck a few years ago. Is he on the mend?
