Joshua Quinn has established a reputation in recent years as a powerful new voice in the mentalism world. In 2008, Joshua published his first full-length book, Para-Lies. It was met with immediate acclaim for being chock full of bold new ideas that were both viable and genuinely groundbreaking (possibly even revolutionary according to one top pro), along with forward-thinking work on long-established principles.

Since then Joshua has performed and lectured in the U.S. and abroad, and has been sought out as a consultant by the likes of David Blaine. He has also continued to create, recently publishing his long-awaited Word To Your Mother Book Test. The lecture is a look at the craft of mentalism through Joshuas unique perspective. He examines not only the mechanics of routines, but also what makes them effective, how they came about, and what else they might induce us to learn and explore, with an eye toward drawing inspiration from fields completely removed from the mystery arts.
