David Solomon is a legend among those who live for card magic. His last book, Solomon's Mind, has completely sold out, but his newest title--THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON--has just been released.

David has been performing and creating magic for over 30 years. He was in the enviable position of beingable to watch and study with the incomparable Ed Marlo for 20 years. Using his experiences with Eddie as a stepping stone, he has been on a constant search for new and improved ideas to contribute to the magic community. His first solo book, Solomons Mind (1997) was an accumulation of his work up to that point, and demonstrated the strong influences of his mentor. Over the past decade, he has had the privilege of attending Escorial in Madrid, Spain, where he had the pleasure of studying with master magician, Juan Tamariz and was able to sit down and share ideas with some of Europes finest magical minds. During these past ten years, he has also continued to session weekly with his close friends Simon Aronson and John Bannon, with whom he has been able to create new, entertaining, and interesting card ideas. The cumulative influences of these experiences have now found their way into The Wisdom of Solomon, his first major endeavor in the last ten years.

The Wisdom Of Solomon, written by David and Jeff Siegfried, contains 54 card effects, several of which are entire performance pieces, including full patter presentations. During Saturday's lecture, David will perform only effects HE HAS NEVER BEFORE SHOWN IN A LECTURE! This all mew material will be from his new book, and is sure to be a treat.

Just wanted to mention the lecture last night was great. All new material and all of it good. Ingenoius thinking and entertaining effects. Some use sleight of hand (really interesting new method for palming), some great subtlety , some self working/mathematical (great 3 sequence 21 card trick...yes 21 card trick magic) and some (of course) gaffed cards. If you get a chance to see or book the lecture do.

I urge anyone with an interest in card magic to pick up his new book "Wisdom of Solomon". You'll be glad you did.
