Looking for other attendees who might want to share a room, either in the hotel proper or in one nearby.

Thanks!

Can anyone attend this, or must one be a member of some group? Thanks.

I think it's by invitation, but someone can confirm that.

Richard's right; it's invite only.

I have on my desk a "Dragon" based on an item of Jerry Andrus for the Gathering in 1998 (#3 I think). Does anynone know if they are still offering things of this nature? He's (the Dragon) really weird, his eyes follow you around the room...

I have one of the dragons on my desk, too. My son Ben loves trying it out.

Here's the web-site: http://www.g4g4.com/

It looks like a invitation is in the upper right hand index.

Anyone may go to the website, but to access any of the links requires a username and password.

I also have one of the Andrus dragons, but am not sure where I got it. My poor memory tells me that I might have gotten it from Mr. Andrus. I remember that it had to be assembled after I received it. It is a really cool optical illusion. My favorite memory of the IBM convention held on the Queen Mary was being invited to Mr. Andrus's large room to see the many optical illusions he had crammed into it. We had never met, but he was happy to share with anyone who showed interest. I also sat with him in the back of the auditorium during the boring part of one of the shows while he demonstrated card moves that, at least to me, appeared to be impossible to do by anyone except him. He was an incredibly nice and generous man.

As for Mr. Gardner, I hope that he is with us long enough to see a completed copy of the Miracle Factory book that seems to be suffering the same fate as the Bluemle book on Dr. Jaks.

You can find the template for the dragon here. This page gives some background, the actual link to the template is in the text. Enjoy!

Thanks for the link, Frank. I'm going to set it up to show my kids.
