SEAM 2008 - Atlanta, August 21-23

The Southeastern Association of Magicians will hold their 2008 convention in Atlanta, August 21-23. Details at www.seam2008.org -- early registration has its privileges. The fee is just under $100 for magicians, less for spouses and kids. And you're going to be amazed at the amount of world-class magic performance and instruction you will get for that small registration fee!

Genii's grand Inquisitor, MAX MAVEN, will lecture and perform. He is also teaching a bonus workshop entitled "So You Want To Be a Mentalist" -- there are still some slots for that 4-hour workshop to be held on Sunday. (The Thursday afternoon session is sold out.)

Magicana's DAVID ACER will perform and lecture in his own hypercomedic style... take a deep breath and prepare for your sides to ache from laughing!

A new addition to the line-up: On Monday we confirmed that comedy magic and television star HARRY ANDERSON will be lecturing.

Celebracadabra star DAVID "SILLY BILLY" KAYE will be on hand giving us the real work on kidshows. Magic Castle mainstay AMOS LEVKOVITCH will tip the work on doves and stage magic. And Atlanta's own TONY CHAPEK will show us the latest updates to his act of creative technological enchantment.

More close-up magic, you say? You're going to see some great close-up from TROY HOOSER - DAN TONG - TOM CRAVEN!

And yes, there will be contributions from some of the locals:
