So what kind of book is this exactly? Sort of a beginners "how to" a la Criss? Or something more like the Blaine book? A bit of both?

Is it going to be instructional or is it more of a biography

It's both. Someone else wrote the first section, which is part bio and part something else (not sure what). I wrote the tricks.

After the October 1 publication date for the Criss Angel Mindfreak book vanished from Amazon.com a few weeks ago, I've spent some time trying to find out when it will come out. No one answers my e-mails, so I went back to Amazon today and saw this:

* Publisher: HarperEntertainment (May 1, 2007)

* ISBN: 0061137618

So, it appears to have been pushed back to May of next year! Crikey! And when I think of the bum's rush we went through to get it done quickly because it "has to be ready" by such and such a date.
