Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon

Postby Bill Mullins » December 30th, 2023, 8:31 pm

My son is 17 and will never know what Labor Day Weekend used to be like. If he would only watch the MDA Telethon youtube channel, though . . .

It has a lot of magicians.

Look for George Carl while you are there.

Michael Goudeau juggles. So does Michael Moschen.

Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass performing the Theme from 2001 is peak 1970s.

A vent act: Rip Taylor makes his knees lip-sync to John and Marsha.

George Carl used to appear regularly on by UK TV variety shows way back in the day. Brilliant.

This is really a fun (albeit sometimes cringey) watch---thanks, Bill!
