I didn't know (until Wikipedia told me) that in 2002 Silvio Mantelli petitioned Pope John Paul ll to declare St. John Bosco the Patron St of stage Magicians. Today I saw a tweet from The Mysterium Show linking to this article with the wonderful subtitle "The brains of the patron saint of stage magicians have been recovered" http://tinyurl.com/yb6cv5p5

There was some talk of it at the time. But I haven't heard about his brains being found. Are you sure it's not a trick?

His story has been on a list of things that I use in the Academy of Magical Arts Newsletter. I find him fascinating because he is also the Patron Saint of editors, publishers, and juvenile delinquents.
