Over the last weeks I have collected a few links and pieces of information on art in magic and magic in art for my English-German magic blog http://www.zzzauber.com (which translates like m-m-magic). The links include books, exhibitions and shops. I intend to expand this quite a bit in the near future. So if you are interested in any of the following names and their link to selected pieces of magic art, click into my art page https://zzzauber.wordpress.com/blintdext/ and scroll down a bit.
Featured names so far:
Zakary Belamy, Derren Brown, Eugene Burger, Chan Canasta, Steve Cohen, Daryl, Fabrini, Roberto Giobbi, Henry Hay, Harry Houdini, Volker Huber, Ken Knowlton, Channing Pollock, Bob Read, Chuck Romano, Annabel de Vetten, Kurt Volkmann, Wittus Witt, Kreg Yingst.
Any further hints or links in this field are very much appreciated!
In another section of my blog I have started to display magic postage stamps from my huge collection. Many of them are real pieces of art, too.

I have already managed to add a few more, including a three-dimensional portrait of Ricky Jay made out of playing cards by Glenn Kaino, a portrait of Roy Walton (recently mentioned in another thread here) by Thomas Cameron, and several great caricatures of Juan Tamariz.

Great find, Joe, thank you!
I wasn't aware of this artist. Yet the first Cardini portrait looks familiar. Maybe from a book cover?

Ah, yes, even have it in my files!
Also just noticed that the ensuing number (Sep 2007) featured a ten-page article by Alan Howard on "The Art of Magic Art".
