Hi. I'm to blame. (And brand new on the Genii Forum.) I hope you have no problems with the software -- I had some early glitches with the installation/setup program, but I now have that solved. I'd love to hear what you think, and any ideas you may have for new features.

I had problems with it the first time, but it works now. I don't know when I will be able to really sit down and get to work on it, but I think this would be extremely useful for card guys.

Tried this out on my Windows XP Pro system and it works very well. Even if you don't currently know a stack, using this could be a huge aid in deciding which one to learn.

Just a quick note to let you know I've juiced up StackView with some new enhancements. You can now:

1. Save and open stack files
2. Set a stack as the default for the program to use
3. Create your own stacks interactively
4. Create variations of the Stanyon stack interactively
5. Access a Help file.

I just wanted to thank you for the nice software you made available. I've been playing for many years now with various packages to simulate shuffling and to practice with stacks, but I never found any one that had all the features StackView has. I really think it's the most complete package available, and the great thing is that it's free.

I may not like 100% the interface (why did you designed your own cards rather that using the system ones, provided in CARDS.DLL?) but it still does what it's supposed to do.

A couple MINOR display issues (which may be peculiar to my PC setup.)

I have a 1280x1024 rez with Normal (96dpi) screen font. With those settings, there is some text formatting problems under the Selection tab in the top left area and the "Free Choce from Spread" [sic] Select area.

Nick -- Thank you for a great program. A side benefit, for those who are contemplating downloading the program, is the Tamariz stack in east-to-use form. Also the Aronson stack and more.
