Which article/issue of Magic?

One seemingly obvious difference is that BoingBoing is read by a different audience than Magic Magazine, and in this case this article will attract the attention of BoingBoing's problem-solvers who are working on solutions to the unbalanced aspects of US intellectual property law.

Analysis by one legal writer of how magicians deal with IP in the absence of law is interesting.

That a larger law-interested audience is examining the magic community's IP model is interesting in a whole different way.

Maybe the mentioned but uncited Magic Magazine article examined the latter; I don't know.

IMHO the paper is a direct take from something that was published earlier.
