The Magic of Houdini now on Netflix

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

The Magic of Houdini now on Netflix

Postby JohnCox » September 5th, 2016, 8:07 pm

The Magic of Houdini with Alan Davies is now available to stream on Netflix. The documentary was produced in 2014 for ITV in the UK. It's never been released on DVD and this is its first availability in the U.S.

In this doc, Alan Davies, a UK comedian and personality, travels to various Houdini locations in the UK and U.S. He talks with Roger Dreyer, David Copperfield, Ruth Brandon, Ken Silverman, Kevin Connolly, Richard Sherry and Dayle Krall, and 93-year-old Larry Weeks (his last interview). I reviewed it when it first aired HERE.
