Companion: Consort.
Wannabe: Heir.
Reigning Ruler: Boss. Although Majesty might just work.

Interesting project. Should keep somebody well-salaried for a while.

As for the cards, perhaps not a good idea. Too many people need a refresher course in which-card-is-which as it is.
