Dunno about magnets as method for magic that way. Like this item it just seems too close to even call "too perfect". Sooner or later someone's gonna hook up a trick bulb to a counterweight assembly on the Keller/Thurston fan thing using IT - then fool the folks who think it's done with magnets.
Maybe post a YouTube video of the thing suspended as they waggle their fingers... ( ala Jarrett tire ;) ) This item looks close in design. :D
