If you like your tv shows to feature Mentalists, quirky time travelling Doctor types, forensic investigators and even cane-bearing medics then seek out 'Sherlock', the BBC's contemporary take on the famous Baker Street dwelling sleuth.

I understand three 90 minute episodes have been made and the first one, screened on Sunday, was a cracker.

Brought to you by the makers of Doctor Who...check it out.

Cheers

Andrew

Seen all 3 episodes. Very well done and I was skeptical of retelling of Holmes in 2010 England. Word is more are ordered.

Wow - cool. My buddies tell me the third episode airs tomorrow. You got a working time machine or something?

My wife has a friend who is somehow involved in the production and showed a screening disc to a group of friends while we were visiting some months ago. I'd love to see them again but I don't see it on BBC Americas lineup. Maybe it will air in the states at a later date. I hope so anyway.

I eagerly await reports of Sherlock and also The Deep tomorrow.

And hope Moffat's Dr Who series makes it here as well. Also Mongrels - heard that's funny.
