From The Guardian

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

The background I heard is that they wanted to put Katherin Mills on as a solo show, but didn't think it would go over yet, so filled the bill with other acts as well. Expect that, if the show does well, she will be promoted to a solo show.

The show Impossible opened last night in London and some reviews are in. Katherine Mills left the show at the last minute for personal reasons.

To which I add a personal observation: "Am I the only one who has noticed that good female assistants generally have more stage presence, move better, understand stagecraft, and are fitter than the male magician?"

Nope. They usually have (at a minimum) dance training, so are instantly ahead of most magicians who have no little or no training at all.
