Puzzles wanted

A place where beginners can participate, ask questions, and post their views. However, beginners typically ask a lot of questions about sources, tricks, books, and so on. In fact, all magicians are interested (or should be) in the provenance of tricks, ideas, and related matters. This department will service these needs.

Just saw this one https://www.theguardian.com/science/201 ... o-oxbridge, it may be of interest.

Surprisingly easy, given the headline.

Bellos does a good job with his column. I met him at the Gathering for Gardner. In March 2014, I did a talk there that included some slides on geometric vanish puzzles. Afterwards, we corresponded a little via email, and a couple weeks later he put this online, using many of the same examples I had spoken about

Will Shortz started a craze in Games Magazine in the early 80s with his Equation Analysis Test. Here's a link to the original list, although hundreds followed. Always loved these things! http://www.gamesmagazine-online.com/gameslinks/equationanalysis.html
