Hey Genii goers! I have been watching a lot of David Blaine performances that involve his double lift, when I cam across a video of him from his haiti fundraiser.
He would place a selected card in the pack and spread the cards and it would be face up. Then he would have the spectator hold the card in the pack and the pack would be flipped (possibly through a cardini change)
The trick was ispired by his friend Bill Kalush who has this video on youtube
I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight on the the moves needed to have the card flip in the pack? and the deck flip as well...
I have been doing so much research and looking in texts and cannot find a move similar to the effect. Any help is grateful, sorry if this is in the wrong forum section.

It's a little easier to back track and figure out if you know that Bill Kalush does an excellent pass and half pass.
I'm pretty sure the youtube clip is from "Secret Sessions".

My effect, "World's Fastest Card Trick" in CardMagic.
Jim Lewis's version, "Inversion."
Kalush's routine "The Fidgeting Card" has been published.
Now continue your research.

The Kalush item is indeed on the Secret Sessions video.
Richard, wasn't that CardMagic item titled "World's Fastest REVERSE"?
(Loved the initial trunover flourish, BTW.)

The Inversion plot as we know it seems to be Bruce Cervon's creation (Epilogue 1969), see this list, along with other effects along this line: http://www.conjuringarchive.com/show.ph ... ight=19452
