Changing Gears For Breakthrough Performance

Postby Lou Serrano » March 30th, 2010, 9:43 am

I recently hit a plateau in my business and was unsure of what to do to get out of my slump. One of my clients gave me a wonderful piece of advice. He suggested I change gears. He compared his business to driving a stick shift car. Your cruising along in second gear and you want to go faster, so you step on the gas. Eventually you cant go any faster and you hit a plateau. The only way to go faster is to change gears.

The same is true of our business. We run our business in a certain way to grow our business, but eventually we all hit plateaus. It doesnt matter how hard we work, or how much more we do, we just cant seem to get past the plateau. The key is...

I posted a short 3 minute video on my blog with the whole story. Click Here to check it out. I welcome your comments.

To your success!

Your cruising along

My cruising is fine. You're cruising well, I take it?

Look, Kendall, just because I live in Brighton, there is no need for these continual jibes.

Huh? ;)

Cruising in business is fine for a little while, especially if we want to enjoy the fruit of our hard earned success, but it's much too easy to become complacent. Before we know it, we're on a downhill spiral that's difficult to overcome. I think it's best to constantly be on the move, looking for ways to expand our business, creating multiple streams of income, enabling us to live our life with power and passion.

Best,

Lou Serrano

Lou,

He was commenting on your spelling, not content.

Best of luck,

Not really spelling, but grammar.

Your right--there is nothing wrong with you're spelling or grammar.
