Amazon launches on-demand DVD sales

Anyone who makes and sells DVDs will definitely want to look into this new service from Amazon. All you do is send Amazon a copy of your DVD and cover art. They will then produce and ship the DVDs as customers order them.

This should allow virtually anyone who can make a DVD to release it with minimal upfront investment of money. You still have to make the DVD, but this could be a significant change in the way small-run DVDs are made and sold.
