What???

Postby crandash » December 5th, 2014, 1:49 pm

Have you seen this? "Security footage shows the man, wearing black bomber jacket, gently tapping shop owner Aftab Haider – who is known to friends as Aziz – on the arm, before making a stabbing gesture with his hand at eye level that appears to leave Mr Haider in a trance."

Here is the video:

Sorry about that, I should have posted my question first in the original thread. I am going to assume that this video above is not a scam or a fraud, for the sake of this question. Is this possible that he could have used rapid induction or post hypnotic suggestion to accomplish this as the article suggested?

I am completely unaware of this branch of the magic community (Mentalist & Hypnosis)and I wanted to see if this was even plausible? It to me, just seemed so outlandish that I wanted to see some others feedback.

Thank you in advance,

If by "article" you mean the one BBC posted 4 December, then my answer is yes.

John, the BBC article is the one I am referring too. Your answer of yes, means to me that you are saying in a matter of minutes, a professional can induce some type of trance to another and rob this person? And I understand that some "pre-work" could have occurred as well.

You believe that this could be legitimate?

I just find this really fascinating

If by "legitimate" you mean the guy actually put the stop-n-rob employee into a trance, no I do not believe it was legitimate.
