I just ran across an interesting item of use to those doing "mental magic". It is an LCD pad that could be used like a carbon paper pad. If the top graphics were covered with a label and top perforated paper was clipped on to the LCD pad, it would appear to be merely a small clip board with tear off paper. Press a button at the top to erase the impression. Boogie Board $30 at Walgreens - most likely cheaper elsewhere.

P.S. It also can be written on using the thumb nail ala nail writer.
LCD pad for impression work
Re: LCD pad for impression work
Interesting Jim. Do you know if a normal pen or pencil can be used to activate the LCD screen? If not, how would one use the stylo that would be required in a performance?

Dan,
A fingernail will even work! (Hint at another use) These are available all over the internet at much lower prices. Some models will even save drawings. These versions that can save would work for input from several spectators.
