I did see a small segment of that show and thought it was rather good. I hate that bloody spike trick even though you did it very well. Various local twits seem to make a habit if sticking the bloody thing through their hands. In fact I heard of some local magician recently doing the bloody thing wrong and injuring himself but as yet I have no idea who it was. I must find out.

I was horrified to find out that he used that horrendous presentation that I have seen Keith Barry do on television. He does it with the SPECTATOR's hands! Any silly bastard that does it that way should be locked up for abusing people who help them on stage.

It seems from what I hear this fellow actually started to do this version but the volunteer wisely refused. So the silly bastard stuck it through his own hand instead!

All this confirms what I said on another thread. Magicians in general are badly in need of psychiatric treatment.

The show is really great. The Gemini Awards are this weekend, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for Haim - it would be great to see a mentalist win a Gemini.
