Anyone know of any good Mental effect and where to find them using Legal Pads?
I want to do mental effects but need a starting point.
What would be good besides effects with numbers?

Seems to me, any number of mental effects that require paper and writing down information could fit your criteria.

Billet work
Drawing Dups. (Kopy Kat pad might be ideal)
Osterlind's Steno ESP
Osterlind's Predict Tac Toe
ESPieces (a piece of mine- best with a smaller pad)
Living Dead Tests

etc. etc.

Ted Lesley's PARAMIRACLES has a whole section on effective ways of using a Legal Pad... I'll share one little hint with you to play with... The Mead Paper Co. I believe it is, has a new notebook out called "Bungie"... Take a look at it and think about packet tricks, like Out To Lunch... I think you'll find something to keep those creative juices flowing if you're able to make the connection.

Rick, do you mean legal pads as opposed to regular 8 1/2 x 11 pads? Or would any size pads suffice?

What happened? Did you just get a bargain on 1,000 legal pads?

My Prediction in the Shoe works with a small clipboard and pad and gimmick.. Using a legal pad would be overkill, although you could do it with one.

Does Andy Nyman's portfolioi work with a legal pad?

A Duo Tech type effect with symbol cards. The legal pad houseing the "works".
