Its working with a agent any good?
Agents?
Re: Agents?
there are many agents around those 3 states. What do you need one for? Are you ready for one? Play some clubs, many can be found there scouting for talent.
Re: Agents?
see who books the entertainers you identify with and contact them to see if theres a want and need. what about those cruise lines that operate out of miami and ft lauderdale??? maybe some opportunites there??!?

Re: Agents?
Getting an agent can be useful if you're already established and want to do certain types of shows, such as comedy clubs.
They are no good for corporate work, especially trade shows, in my experience.
If you are looking to work high end private party work, I suggest that you contact any and every event planner and party planner in the tri-state area and list with them all.
Just don't sign ANY agreement where they require you to be exclusive with them. That can cost you work in the future, big time.
Hope this helps!
