John Shirley's ESPerimental

I posted this in another area of the forum but perhaps someone at this site will have some info.
I have this effect and I'm wondering if anyone knows what it's value might be. I'm not sure, but I don't believe these are being made anymore. It's a great mentalism routine using jumbo ESP cards and a wooden card stand. A spectator arranges the cards in any order on the card stand, face down. They are then covered with numbered plaques. The performer stands across the room, back turned, and is then able to identify where each card is located. Any thoughts on this routine or other information would be appreciated.

This effect was originally invented and marketed by Ned Rutledge as part of his excellent "Mass Miracle" routine.

And if you can get a hold of ANY of Ned's effects do. They are not only highly sought after but he was a brilliant thinker and are well worthy of study.

John Shirley did a great job presenting that routine. He could stand back 30 feet at times and still identify the cards.

Actually, I have been looking for this routine for a while. If you have an inkling to sell it, I would be happy to give you a fair price for it (though I have no idea what it costs)

"He could stand back 30 feet at times and still identify the cards."

Credit for the ability to do this should rightly be given to the late Ned Rutledge.

When the producers of John Shirley's ESperimental became aware that the method was really Ned's, they pulled John's version off the market until proper credit was given.

And I don't mean to give improper credit to John Shirley at all. I merely state the amazing effect of the routine, that it was possible to perform from 30 feet away. It was a hit when I saw it.

Thanks to everyone for the information. Yes, this really is a great effect. I did have the opportunity to see Mr. Shirley perform this effect a number of years ago and it certainly was both entertaining and extremely baffling. I had considered selling the effect, but I have now reconsidered. It's just to good to lose. Again thanks to everyone that responded.
