Selling off collection

Postby damonw » January 9th, 2024, 2:50 pm

Hi All!
I'm going to be selling of a great deal of my collection end of Jan beginning of Feb:
It's all in Los Angeles and I now live in NYC.
Signed books, collections of vintage periodicals like Mahatma (and yes, Genii!) posters (It's Magic classics) framed Ricky Jay and his 52 assistants, lecture notes, some props.
I will catalog all once I'm there, but can anyone recommend dealers or collectors that I can contact? would prefer larger buys than one offs.
Thank you in advance for any advice
cheers!

John Cannon of Aladdin Books is in Fullerton and might be interested. Andy (John A.) Greget is in Arizona and often travels to LA for Castle Swap Meets and such things. Byron Walker is in San Francisco. I imagine all three will be in Long Beach for the Magic Collectors Expo, but that is not till early May and perhaps you want the sale before then.

I think he's still operating by phone or snailmail, though his last ad in Magicol said to look him up on facebook.

Perhaps he's accepting messages?
