Re: WTB: El Duco Reel
If you watch the video on the page, he demonstrates - for quietness - about ten reels plus the one he sells.
In the meantime you could try contacting Gay Lundberg at http://www.gycklaren.com . They took over the El Duco range and from whom I purchased an El Duco reel a couple of years ago. I'm sure I heard Gay say they had sold out, but there's always a possibility of one turning up in a box somewhere.

Re: WTB: El Duco Reel
I watched the video and was impressed by the quality, quickness and quietness of the reel. Not totally silent but still very quiet. Looks like the best reel currently on the market. I will definitely buy one.
I've handled an El Duco reel and it is silent. I still want one...and have a lead on one.
I greatly appreciate your excellent advice.
Thanks!
