Mike, I'm interested in a couple of titles on your list. What is your shipping policy, or do the prices include domestic shipping?

For reference, Chad Kidd's post from a couple of years ago with a subsequent thread of unhappy buyers:

Chad, maybe you can explain what happened in 2013?

This time your "real name" is stated as Mike Whiterman.

In 2013 when I sent you money you stated your "real name" with your contact details as Chad Kidd.

Tell us: Was that out of your control too?

I want to also warn people of this seller.

I tried to buy from him in the past. I sent him the money via PayPal but he never sent the books. I called him and spoke to him briefly and he promised to send them but they never came.
He says that we received our money back and all was well. He seems to imply that he refunded our money happily. The fact of the matter is that we had to file grievances with PayPal and they refunded our money.
BEWARE OF THIS SELLER.

This is the order I was about to place but first I wished to see if I could do a deal so I waited until morning......................and boy! oh! boy! am I glad I waited. I want to thank the magic fraternity here who have posted their warnings and experiences. I expect that he would have done a good deal especially if he wasn't sending on the books after he was paid.

It can only be imagined how sick I would feel today if I had Paypalled the money last night.

Thanks Guys.

You can get the Walton books for about $50 each from Penguin. Half of what he was charging.

I was curious about the pricing of The Vernon Chronicles also. The set can be bought new for less than half the asking price here. I would not normally try to sour someone's deal, but this whole business sounds a bit strange.

I do not visit this forum often so I missed the warnings. I ordered a few books. Was promised a tracking number - never received one. I emailed - no response. I filed a dispute with PayPal and then received a response with a promise of a tracking number yesterday. Would you believe - I never received one. Emailed directly - no response. The good news is that PayPal will make it right. The bad news is that this individual can post on this (or any) forum.

Everyone was right - Buyer beware!!!
