WTB: Tenyo Miracle Glass
Hi Everyone,
I am looking for a couple of the Tenyo Miracle Glasses. This is the one where the liquid visually diminishes in the glass. I am not a collector, so it does not need to be in mint condition. It does have to be in good shape.
Thanks,
Paul Green
PS Enjoy the search!

Thanks Steve,
The item I am looking is not the Milk Tumbler.
Again, the one I am looking for is where the liquid visually diminishes.
Still looking,
Paul Green

Paul, what year did you first see a trick by Tenyo called "Miracle Glass"?

Re: WTB: Tenyo Miracle Glass
Sorry Richard,
I am sure it is the wrong name. It came in a yellow box as I remember. Are you able to spread some light on my search?
Any help will be appreciated!
Enjoy the search,
Paul

Re: WTB: Tenyo Miracle Glass
Paul, are you referring to the type of glass that has a rubber bulb connected to the rear, near the bottom, and is double walled?

Re: WTB: Tenyo Miracle Glass
Nope! This glass is gimmicked like the evaporated milk bottle.
Glass appears full, but when the small **** at the top is opened, the liquid appears to evaporate as the level goes down.
Thanks for your assistance,
Paul

Re: WTB: Tenyo Miracle Glass
Tenyo may have sold those in Japan a long time ago (I haven't seen any evidence), but not in the US, and not for 20 or 30 years.

Paul, since I'm in the final stages of writing a book about Tenyo, please email me at moobooks@verizon.net with the answer to this riddle.

Re: WTB: Tenyo Miracle Glass
Paul....Don't think this was Tenyo....This sounds exactly like the Miracle Milk Glass which D.Robbins...EZ Magic sold for years in their catalog.....we sold dozens at Mecca Magic in Jersey...from the 1960's on for many years....It came in a Yellow E-Z Magic Box.........Hope this helps......If I'm wrong....................Never Mind...

I think Myron is correct. I also think that I can get you various models of it currently being manufactured. Please PM me for details. Steve

Re: WTB: Tenyo Miracle Glass
If you still need one, I have one new in the box with instructions. The instructions say "This trick won FIRST PRIZE in Liquid Magic at the I.B.M. Convention in Pittsburgh 1947"

I wonder how many places they gave in that category that year.

Re: WTB: Tenyo Miracle Glass
I am going to give it a college try to acquire the Linking Ring magazine that covered the results of the 1947 convention and look it up. Wish me luck! If I find it, I will report what I find out here.
