Michale Close Birthday Book

Postby pilotpete » April 16th, 2012, 3:55 am

Does anyone have one of these in unused (unfilled) condition.

We're going back probably 10 years plus here. Check the back of your cupboards.

Well technically, it isn't the Sterling Publishing Birthday Book, if that is what you mean. But, it is the kind of information Pete wanted (according to the email he sent me) though, as you point out, not what he asked for.

Should have said, "here is a possible alternative that I have found useful/workable". The fortunes for each day come in handy too.

In any case, and as you can see, I am unlikely to post something unless I believe I am contributing information that is meaningful and actionable. I hope my contribution here has met that condition.

vr,

Joe

I appreciate this link. I've made up birthday books in the past, and saw something like this at one point and thought that it would be perfect. Unfortunately, it was gone when I went back to purchase it.

I just ordered one. If it works out as I expect, I'll order a couple more. At $4 each it's a good deal.

Thanks to everyone who's replied to my quest.

The Fortune Telling Birthday Book is as close as it's going to get. If you're familiar with this types of effect you'll know that the '4 days to a page' suits things very well. Together with the appropriate front cover and info each day that allows the weaving of a story. I'm a happy bunny-even if a couple of weeks late!

Hi Everyone,

While it is gimmicked in a slightly different way, The Fortuneteller's Book of Days is a viable solution. It was designed after seeing Alex Elmsley present his Fate's Datebook.

It is available through L & L Publishing and other shops (B&M and online). Retailing at $20, I still consider it a bargain.

I receive no further financial benefit from its sale.

Enjoy the Search.

Respectfully,

Paul Green
