For Sale: Limited Edition Beta Wallet by Howie Schwarzman

Postby JimmieH » March 8th, 2012, 4:45 pm

Howie Schwarzman's Limited Edition Beta Wallet

This is a fairly hard to find collectable item, good condition.
Bought this directly from Howie many years ago at a magic seminar
in Philly. Never used, and has been packed away for years.

Includes his original instructions and a supply of envelopes.

This item has gone for a higher price on eBay, but I want members to have an opportunity to own a very nice item at a reasonable price.

No wiggle room on this one $125 plus $5.00 for USPS Priority Mail Shipping (USA)

Somebody MUST want this item. I don't want it, I can't figure it out, It's driving me nuts! I find the directions confusing and difficult to understand.

It must have some value as a nostalgic collectable from the UK.

Here's what I will do: SOLD AS IS...NO RETURNS to the highest offer I get
over $40 by midnight tomorrow (3/20/12) Pacific Time

send offers to my email as listed in the initial posting. Thanks
It deserves a good home!

It is not a Howie Schwarzman wallet, it is the Eric Mason (of Pabular fame) wallet.

I think Howie Schwarzman has exclusive rights to manufacture and sell the wallet though.

Phil Willmarth highly recommended it in The Linking Ring, November 1992 (and it cost $140 back then). He describes it as a "Himber wallet, a Le Paul wallet, a Balducci & Kaps wallet, and a Mullica wallet".

Hi,
I just got back in town. Is this wallet still available and what is the price?

Hi,
Has this wallet been sold and do you feel comfortable in saying what it sold for?

There were several offers. I have notified the highest bidder early this morning that he had won the item...he has not yet open the email.
LaMont you seemed very interested in this item on your first post, but I guess not interested enough to even make an offer.
It sold in the $50+ range......I'm obligated to live up to my commitment, but had hoped it would be a bit more.

It's a well-known wallet, and Eric Mason was no slouch. Surprised no one jumped on it for the higher price.

Hi Jimmie,

I guess there was a mix-up. I responded to the email you sent me with a $50 bid and asked if it was a one time bid. I never heard back from you for some reason. Sorry to have missed out. Let me know if the winner doesn't follow thru.

sorry LaMont, never received your response. The winning bid was a little bit higher than what you indicated above,,,,he has still not opened the email I sent.
Will let you know if he doesn't follow thru.
