The Berglas Effects and Tales from The Uncanny Scot - For Sale

Postby David Hawkins » November 27th, 2011, 3:41 pm

I am selling my copy of The Berglas Effects by David Berglas and Richard Kaufman. The book is in absolutely brand new condition and comes complete with DVDs and 2 pairs of 3D Glasses. As you may be aware this book is now out of print. Ebay listing number 110783880097

I am also selling my Collectors Edition of Tales From The Uncanny Scot by Ron Wilson. Again the book is in brand new condition, signed and numbered by the late Ron Wilson and comes complete with bonus DVD. (N.B. This is actually a relisting since the previous buyer 'changed their mind' !)
Ebay listing number 110783894697

Good luck if you decide to bid

As far as I know, my book comes with only one pair of 3D glasses.

There were definitely 2 pairs supplied with my copy - as per photo. Maybe a fault when books were packaged and 2 pairs were put in by mistake.

An error. Please send one pair back to me. :)
You're making a mistake by selling that book, you know.

In your item description you state: "This book is in absolutely brand new mint condition."

That's not true because all the vinyl envelopes containing the DVDs are sealed when new. You've pull off the strips to open them, and watched the DVDs, and so the book is not in "brand new mint condition." It is in used condition, and you should say so.

Okay - my apologies. Perhaps "used - like new" would be more appropriate. Apart from the fact the vinyl envelopes have been opened, and the DVDs have been played, the book is in the same condition as when I received it.

Incidentally I'm selling the book, along with virtually the rest of my collection, because I have now retired from performing.
