Grant/Worth/Abbotts apparatus and card magic books

Postby Diego » December 4th, 2009, 1:33 pm

I am helping a family of a late magic hobbyist, in the Reno, Nevada area, with a collection of apparatus by Grant, Abbott,Milson-Worth, Mikane, and others. The late magician was a card man also, and there a a lot of books and MMS on card magic and general magic as well.

Is there someone in the Reno, Nevada area who collects and/or deals in any of the above, who might be interested?
I also made a 10 minute dvd showing the most interesting pieces of his collection.

Not that I can recall, BUT there are boxes of Fox Lake cards. The collection has a lot different trick decks AND I should have mentioned before, a nice nice collection of gaffed coins, in itemized folders. It is a very extensive collection of gaffed coins that a serious collector/dealer would find of interest

You or someone else would have to go to the house to go thru the boxes of cards...as I said, most were Fox Lake cards.
Ditto, someone interested in gaffed coins would need to see the collection for themselves.
The video I made, mostly goes thru the apparatus, books and coin collection.
So if you are able to go to the Reno, Nevada area, let me know.

Diego.....do you recall if there are any rare UF Grant or Abbott stuff (rather than the more common items usually found)? Would be interested in knowing.
